Bob Barker is an American television personality, game show host, and producer. He is best known for hosting the long-running game show The Price Is Right from 1972 to 2007. He is also known for his work on Truth or Consequences and the Miss Universe pageants.

Barker was born on December 12, 1923, in Darrington, Washington. He attended Drury College in Springfield, Missouri, where he majored in economics and was a member of the Kappa Sigma fraternity.
