My all time favorite funny lady is Lucille Ball. I Love Lucy has and always will be one of my top three favorite shows of all time. It doesn't matter how many times I've seen an episode - I'll watch it again.

As a kid I honestly thought that they were a happily married couple, so it was sad for me to find out that they had their pens poised above the divorce decree for the entire run of the show.

Lucille Ball and Desi Arnaz were married on November 30, 1940 and then filed for divorce in 1944, but did not dissolve their marriage.

They stayed married for the full run of both I Love Lucy and The Lucy Desi Comedy Hour before finally divorcing in 1960.
